Craftsmanship

Each piece of our jewelry begins with the artistry of Japanese pearl farmers, who cultivate Biwa pearls through a painstaking process that can take 3–6 years from seeding to harvest. Despite environmental challenges that threaten the delicate ecosystems of Lake Biwa, these farmers continue their traditional methods with skill and care, shaping each pearl with patience and expertise. We honor their craft by donating 5% of our proceeds to support sustainable pearl cultivation and preserve their artisanal legacy.

Every pearl is hand-selected and custom-fitted into its metal setting with precision and care. By combining this meticulous setting craftsmanship with the farmers’ years of artisanal dedication, our jewelry reflects both the artistry of Japanese pearl cultivation and the elegance of fine jewelry-making.
